Robotics at Hadley Jr. High School

A great way to integrate Science and Technology into the Language Arts Curriculum is through the linking of a novel study with hands-on extension lessons.  That's exactly what Room 708 did at Hadley Junior High School. After reading the novel The Iron Giant by Ted Hughes, this Secondary Cycle 1 year 1 class embarked an a Lego Robotics adventure.  Using Robolab, the students defined robotics, built a simple robot following one of the Lego designs as well as solving various challenges.
