Our purpose at Noranda School is to educate and encourage our students to develop their interests, talents, and potential so they may eventually make their mark in society.

To do so we strive to maintain the highest standards in the delivery of our program as well as encouraging our students to develop their own individuality. We believe that our students can become all they want to be, by developing their learning skills, as well as their knowledge in the various disciplines.

We promote excellence in all aspects and endeavours and value our students’ talents and contributions. We pattern our program delivery to prepare them for their post secondary studies through the use of information technology and research methods. Among the areas of interest are the Sciences, Maths, the use of technology, a fluency in the two official languages, and community building through a diverse choice of extra curricular activities.

Our staff is dedicated to continuous learning, by actively participating in professional development and keeping current with the latest educational research and the MEQ reform. Students who graduate from Noranda School are bilingual and have many opportunities to either study or enter the work force.
