Governing Board
The Governing Board serves as the main vehicle for realizing this new autonomy on the part of the school and for reinforcing its ties with the community.
A governing board has been established in each Quebec School including McDowell - The McDowell Board consists of 10 members and the Principal. Five members are parents and five are staff members.
The Board determines the orientations and plan of action of the school, sees that these are implemented, and evaluates them.
