Cafeteria (Senior Campus)
Welcome!
My name is Pieter de Zwaan. I operate the cafeteria at Lord Aylmer Elementary.
Starting a new school year can be both an exciting and anxious time for students. As students face new experiences and opportunities they require a healthy and balanced lunch to help them stay focused during the day. The Lord Aylmer cafeteria provides a convenient way of feeding students an excellent lunch and gives parents an alternative to lunches made at home for a reasonable price.
There is a simple ordering system in place that allows the students to choose items from the menu (please note Jr. & Sr. menu differences) every morning before class starts. They can select from drink, soups, not or cold meals and snacks. Please note: soups and hot meals are only available at the Sr. Campus.
Menus are sent home with the students at the beginning of the school year. Your child has the option to pay for his/her meal the morning of the day lunch is ordered or if it is more convenient a monthly payment plan can be arranged. Jr. Campus students must send their orders in a ziplock/envelope clearly labeled ‘LUNCH ORDER’ including the child’s name, the items to be ordered and the homeroom teacher’s name.
As a parent of 2 children it is important for me to know what my children are eating and what nutritional options are available to them. My commitment to you is to provide your children with the same healthy choices that I offer my children.
