The hand is an open gesture symbolizes reaching out to each other within the school and out to the world; it is also symbolic of self expression, creation, guidance and protection.

The circle represents unity and community and a continuum of learning within the school community in a cyclical fashion; it also represents the Earth for which we are all guardians and from which so much knowledge is gained.

The butterfly represents the soul of the school; strength, perseverance, beauty, courage and endurance, qualities we seek to nurture in our children and ourselves. It also represents the metamorphosis we witness in our children as they grow and develop and the one we seek in Education as a whole, to be dynamic, always improving and responding to the needs of our children.

The book and letters represent lifelong learning, literacy, communication, history and all our stories as a part of history. The figures encircling it all represent the students, staff, parents and greater community holding hands; together in strength and harmony; working with, learning from and supporting each other.
